Show 1 February, Sunday. Feel some better. Dr went to S.S. Expect Thair and prepared dinner but he did not come. Taylor had dinner with us. none of the girls have called at the house but all on the phone Have done little today. February breeds fever in our veins; Eat little and escape repletions pains. Nor bleed from thumb; be careful of a chill, And should you eat of goose, or beet, or dill, Take wine; then may you bleed your thumb at will. Monday, February 2. Their and family arrived by Auto from San Francisco on their way to Rockford Ill. where he has been called to Camp Grant. The children have grown so much. Richard is as tall as his father and is only 14 yr old. All are well and feel fortunate to be called to this Camp just now. We are very happy they come this way. Tonight all our family met here for dinner in their honor. Taylor Peery, Ralph & Maren, Ted & Janath also. A nice time.
