His Practica passed through more than forty editions and underwent translations into half a dozen languages indicative not so much of its medical value as of the fact that it was the only book before Pare that dealt with epidemic syphilis and gunshot wounds. This is the second time in the History of the church that the Gen. Conference for all has been postponed. This time owing to the War which is effecting so many things.
