Mr. Alan Steed, developer, met with the council concerning final approval of the Slaterville Commercial Subdivision, 700 North 2000 West, consisting of 11 lots. The property is zoned C-3P, and the proposed use conforms to the General Plan. Some items on the City Engineer's memo have been taken care of, but some, including water for landscaping, still needed to be addressed. Mr. Steed requested approval at this meeting as he has people interested in purchasing the property. The council unanimously granted final approval for the subdivision, subject to compliance with the City Engineer's memo, final UDOT access letter, approval letter from Bona Vista Water District, and other recommendations. After discussion on the approval of storage units as part of the retail proposal, Mr. Steed was advised that the council will consider an amendment to allow storage units on the property, if a proposed grocery store commits to the project. The Boyer BSA Warehouse (IRS) Subdivision, 1136 West 12*< Street requested approval for an IRS building on property consisting of about 11 acres, zoned C-3P, and located west of the new IFA building. It proposed a large rear lot for an IRS Records Warehouse and two frontage lots for future retail/commercial businesses. |
