Show Marriott-Slaterville History August 2009 Bits and Pieces Raeline Lark Griffiths, daughter of Lesa Griffiths, was born on August 3, 2009. Anastasia Pearl Price-Campbell, daughter of Candice Price and Rusty Campbell, was born August 4, 2009. Trevin Dander Anglesey, son of Jeremy and Cris Anglesey, was born on August 23, 2009. Sophie Corbridge, daughter of Matt and Megan Corbridge, was born on August 24, 2009. Luke Currie Clayton, son of Jeffrey and Ashley Clayton, was born on August 31, 2009. Doris Ellen Nicholls Tubbs celebrated her 80th birthday on August 2, 2009. An accident about 7:00 p.m. at 12th street and 1900 West sent two people to the hospital on August 3, 2009. A local driver going west on 12*1 Street and making a turn to go south on 1900 West drove in front of an east-bound car on 12*1 Street. The first driver was cited for failure to yield. The second driver and his passenger went to Ogden Regional Medical Center with injuries consistent with deployment of airbags. Zac Blair posted the best score of any Utahn and finished third at the Utah Open's final round August 24, 2009, at Oakridge Country Club, and won the low amateur title. This concluded a great summer for him that includes the Utah State Amateur title and the Salt Lake Open amateur title. Kaleb Wayment and Brock Slater have attained the rank of Eagle Scout. 162 |
