Solve games such as crossword puzzles or Sudoku. A challenge to name popular figures, Blast From the Past, was printed as a challenge to seniors. A cholesterol/blood glucose screening was held at the Senior Center on July 14, 2009. Bits and Pieces Chance Arnold Bass, son of Alan and Adria Bass, was born on July 15, 2009. Harlee Ann Rutherford, daughter of Scott and Whitney Rutherford, was born on July 18, 2009. Luke Ryan Ortega, son of Ryan and Lindsey Ortega, was born on July 26, 2009. Joan Taylor was released from the Cub Scout program after serving 33 years! She received the Silver Beaver A ward several years ago, but doesn't she deserve a Medal of Honor (at least a community one) for working with this energetic (and sometimes rambunctious) age group for so long? Thanks for such excellent and devoted service. Zac Blair won the five-day Utah State Amateur Golf Tournament held in Layton, Utah. The championship title was a long-held and worked-for goal- that he could follow in his father's footsteps. Father Jimmy Blair won the prestigious tournament in 1973. 159 |
