Show Obituaries 2009 Ha Lois Oram SLATERVILLE - On Wednesday, January 7, 2009, we lost a very dear loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend due to causes incident to age. Ha was born March 15, 1924, at the family home, the youngest of her parents, Charles and Gertrude Alvina Everts Chris- tensen in Ogden Utah. She met and later married our Dad, Clifford J. Oram, on August 29, 1941, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. In her younger years, she was a waitress and later worked as the secretary for Clifco, the family business. Mom loved life, was always the life of the party wherever she went, and was full of piss and vinegar as she described herself and reminded us often. She had a beautiful voice, loved music, and performed with her mother when she was a young girl. She also sung in several choirs. Mom made beautiful baby clothes, crocheted pineapple doily's, made mini shadow boxes, and spent many hours doing crossword puzzles. The major loves of her life were Dad, her children, and grandchildren. Mom and Dad loved to travel and spent many years going on trips, wandering through the swap meets in Arizona, and seeing the sites of the states. Ila was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in many positions, but genealogy was her passion. Ila is survived by her loving husband Clifford of Slaterville; children Janet (Richard) Balling- ham, Farr West; Sue (Bruce) By- bee, Uintah; Cliff Oram, Pleasant View; Becky (Dave) Cardwell, Roy; Joe (Julie) Oram, Slater ville; and Karlene (Jess) Hansen Roy; 28 grandchildren; 43 greatgrandchildren, two great-great grandchildren; a sister Leona Saunders, and many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, two daughters-in- law, two brothers, and five sisters.
