It is delicious: gave Junior a loaf. Read quite late Listen to War news. Greeks still taking Italians etc. AGUE- A HANK OF HAIR Identical beliefs appeared in the folklore of people in widely separated locales. The negro superstition of transferring chills or fever to a tree by pegging into it a hank of the patients hair, was just as much at home in England. The hair was fastened in a crevice of the tree, and a sudden jerk (painful no doubt) freed it from the patients head. Thursday 8 DAYS PAST JANUARY 9 357 DAYS TO COME Wrote my brother Oren who is in Nevada out of work & quite discouraged. His wife Mae called me on the telephone that she has recd a letter from him. Did some shopping bought me a lovly green dress price 22.50 Sale price 10.00 also a navy blue dott for spring at 500. Hadnt intended buying before I saw them marked so reasonable.
