Show 24 APRIL 113 DAYS PAST Thursday 262 DAYS TO COME A beautiful day and I feel fine After lunch I visited D.U.P Camp A fine lesson was given the colonization of Utah. I spent a while over at the school with Oscar. This evening Dr & I had chicken dinner at 5 Ward. WARTS- RUB WITH BACON Folk cures, on the American as well as the European continent, extolled the rubbing of warts with bacon. When the bacon had decayed, after having been placed under an eave, then the wards would fall off. Or, if the bacon had been put under the bark of an ash tree, the warts would appear on the tree as knobs. Friday 114 DAYS PAST APRIL 25 251 DAYS TO COME The girls Blanch & Cleone went to Salt Lake with Oscar to look at furniture for Oertel. I went to Acacia Club held at Rosella Larkin. Mrs Olive M Christansen Hostess with Rosella, Mrs Northrop gave a review of the play Jesus of Nazareth as the Journey to Jerusalem written by Maxwell Anderson. She gave it beautifully.
