30 NOVEMBER 333 DAYS PAST Sunday 32 DAYS TO COME Dr and I went to Sunday school At 4 P.M. we had a nice turkey dinner with Oertel & family. Ted and Janath were up from Salt Lake. At 3 P.M. in the 12 Ward Edward Rich Brewer was baptized by J. Major Seawcroft and confirmed by his grandfather Edward I Rich and his father & others. Joseph West Brewer & others of Priesthood, This evening we attended meeting in 5 Ward Apostle D. O. McKay was the speaker. Enjoyed his talk very much WORMS IN TOOTH DECAY The belief that worms caused dental caries persisted many centuries. At one time, a violin player in an Italian village claimed an infallible toothache cure. Putting beeswax and onion seed on a red hot iron, he allowed the stinking fumes of this mixture to reach the sic tooth through a funnel. When relieved, patient and bystanders were shown the inside of the funnel to see the worms which had supposedly been extracted. None suspected the onion seed.
