Show 15 FEBRUARY 45 DAYS PAST Saturday 320 DAYS TO COME Have spent some time of Juniors book. EARACHE- POTATO POULTICE A recipe for earache, harkening back to our grandmothers day, is the potato poultice. The broken up lumps of a large baked, mealy potato were placed in a muslin bag, and applied outside the ear with think flannel. Another remedy was the inside of an onion boiled soft, pointed into the ear as hot as could be borne. Sunday 46 DAYS PAST FEBRUARY 16 319 DAYS TO COME Dr and I drove to Salt Lake City and attended the funeral service of Mrs Joseph Clark (maria) she died apparently while sleeping of heart trouble. She was 84 yr old and was a temple worker the past ten years. Went to bed intending to be at the Temple the next morning. The family have always been our dear friends. Dr called to see his brother Fred who is ill, and prescribed help for him. Arrived home early this evening.
