Show 26 NOVEMBER 329 DAYS PAST Wednesday 36 DAYS TO COME Got up at 9 A.M. & have been buisy all day. Have gone over Drs letters of many years as I expect to put them in Book form for his X mas. Maren is better. Carol is sick TOOTHPULLER AT WORK Somewhat incongruous with the heroic figure of the toothpuller is the size of the instrument which he is using. However, in this copperplate after Luigi Guidotti (18th century), the position of the toothpuller appears to be the important factor. With one foot firmly planted on the patients shoulder, and one hand securely grasping his long hair, the toothpuller apparently has the patient well under control for the crucial yank. Thursday 330 DAYS PAST NOVEMBER 27 35 DAYS TO COME Attended a Luncheon with Oertel. At the home of Mrs John Rushmer Sen. Given by her and Mrs Harry Irwin Did not stay to play cards as I never play.
