Magazine gave us a fine talk on the work of an Editor Very informing. One week tonight since Jr. & Blanch left for their trip to South America. We had a letter from them written in Mexico City Sunday. They are having a very fine time etc. Iris R. Collins is here to see her daughter will stay over night. Dr & I called to see reunions of Mr. Fliwelling EARACHE- SMOKE IN THE EAR The Pennsylvania Germans were at no loss for earache cures. Of those surviving in literature are: tobacco smoke blown in the ear; drops of liquid from a heated piece of green wood; a hot brick wrapped in cloth; piece of bread soaked in brandy; the still warm inside sole of a shoe worn during the day bound on the ear overnight. This afternoon I spent on M. Book & made five pages. Looks nice. This week we have recd letters from Thair, Avon, Oertel, Sidney Winter Ruby Cozzens, Rose Nielsen, rose Ballantyne. I recd Valentine from Dick Nielsen, a little boy next door, one from Richard Rich, our grand son, & Cleone a bottle of perfume. Did not send Valentines this yr. Iris went home tonight Ralph & Maren called.
