During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show 24 JANUARY 23 DAYS PAST Friday 342 DAYS TO COME Have worked at Juniors memory book. At 2 P.M. Dr & I attended the funeral of Parley Passey in the 9th Ward very fine service & large attendance Ed. Pugmire a father in law stayed with us over night. He is a friend and relative by marriage. COLIC-IRON RINGS Superstitious remnant of the Middle Ages is the wearing of iron rings against colic, biliousness, and rheumatic pains. Such rings are still popular. Their wearers prize them particularly for rheumatic pains, believing that the rust which collects inside of them is bad material drawn from their body. These rings, in iron, steel and even gold plate, cost a pretty penny. Saturday 24 DAYS PAST JANUARY 25 341 DAYS TO COME Ed Pugmire had breakfast with us. I have spent today on memory book. This evening Dr and I went to the Orpheum to see Dr Kildare with Lorane Day Cading lady she is the great grand daughter of Drs brother Charles Rich. We were very proud of her acting & beauty.
