This evening about 14 people were here to hear Mrs Safford review her book. I served refreshments. Had good help. INSANITY-LIVING BURIAL Implicitly believed in, in old Ireland, was living burial for the insane. The patient, lowered into a pit three feet wide and six feet deep, was completely covered except for his head. There he remained for three days and nights, unfed and alone.
