I sent a telegram. 37 yr old Ezra C Richs wife Annie Lowe passed away at very suddenly at 12-30 today at the Dee Hospital. A great shock to her family & friends as she had not seemed seriously ill. Dr and I went at once to the hospital The exact came not known. Think she had a heart attack LAPPENBAUM- TREE OF RAGS Oak trees covered completely with pieces of cloth or clothes were known in old Germany. Originally, these materials were offerings to the tree spirit to be propitiously inclined toward the donor. Later, it was probably still more true that such pieces of clothing were to carry the sick mans ills over to the tree. Gladys came from Calif today. This afternoon Dr and I drove to Salt Lake City to meet my Aunt Mary Jones who came in an Auto from Mesa Ariz to visite us a few days. She is 83 yr old bright a can be & seeming real well. She is an ordinance worker in Mesa Temple. She hasent been here for many years. Called to see Fred Rich who is sick.
