In Utah the matter of keeping state affairs separate from church j affairs will always be a live issue, j To pay any part of the expenses! of a student in a, church school, or j la private school, out of public j ! school funds will always be chal­lenged as of doubtful propriety, to say "the least. It can hardly be) defended except as an emergency! measure. Personally I have no doubt but that the Weber county board is do­ing its best to cope with the situ­ation.
