Black cloth covered 2 ring binder. 20 pages with clippings glued front and back. Pages are stuck in the binder loose. There are also numerous loose newspaper clippings plus an envelope full of clippings. |

Show UL 21, 1924 Ogden High School Notes TODAY'S THOUGHT "The greatest thief this world has ever known is 'Procrastination' and he is still at large." An effort is being made to drive this thief from the high school. Students are daily warned about him. He steals the most precious thing that anyone has-time. Students sometimes say they couldn't get their lessons because they "didn't have time." They had the time all right, but "Procrastination" stole it. Success comes to those, and those only, who day by day, and every day do the tasks assigned. GRADUATION HALL The term reports are due tomorrow. Parents are advised that in most cases where students' grades are not complete it is because "Procrastination" has got in some of his deadly work. At a meeting of the board of education it was decided to hold commencement exercises this year at the tabernacle, providing that building can be procured. Neither of the larger theatres, the Alham- bra nor the Orpheum, is available during graduation week. I The graduating class, being fully 90 per cent larger than ever before, makes the problem of graduating exercises unusually difficult. The Orpheum stage has accommodated the classes of the past, but would not this year. The problem also af accommo- i dating the public at graduating ex- i ercises is more aggravating than I heretofore. We've never been able to entertain the near kin of the graduates at these exerciss, and so, invitations even more than ever of course, we shall have to restrict this year. ORATORICAL CONTEST. Box Elder and Davis have signified their desires to continue the oratorical contests begun last year and so such a contest will be held some time before the middle of May. i Each school will enter two contestants as heretofore; these will prepare and deliver orations on any current problem or subject. It has been proposed that each school make a small contribution to purchase medals ror the winner and second place winner of the contest; the idea seems to be meeting with favor.
