Show Tues 2 - 26 24 Ogden High School Notes Through the courtesy of the Weber college building committee the tie-off game between Ogden and Box Elder will be played in the new Weber gymnasium on Wednesday night. The game will be called at 7:30 o'clock sharp. Kiwanis club of Brigham City will attend the O. H. S.-Box Elder game in a body. They phoned for reservations today. On Tuesday afternoon, March 5, a picture film on "The Art of Making Blue Prints," will be presented at the Central Junior High school at 3:30 o'clock. The film is loaned by the C. F. Pease company and the presentation is arranged for by Instructor J. W. Connell of the mechanical drawing department. The picture is free. j A letter from the Industrial i Arts magazine today advises that the drawing, "Model Table Leg Joint," by Ben Jones, will be printed in the next issue of the magazine. A report from the State University of Montana to the high j school gives the grades of Philip Ring, '23, and Margaret Alice Marshall, '17, for the quarter ending December 21, 1923. Dr. Charles E. Barker, noted health lecturer and former physician to President Roosevelt and President Taft, will speak to the high school students in general assembly on Thursday of th:s week at 11 o'clock. Wilson says Ogden school houses are not noted for their architectural beauty. . Just wait till you see our new high school building, Mr. Wilson. It will be a beauty! New bleachers will be built in the high school gymnasium during the summer vacation, so that Friday night's mishap shall never be repeated. It Was most fortunate that no one was injured in the bleacher collapse. |
