Show Marriott-Slaterville Monthly History March 2013 About 120 excited children, ages 1 to 8, met at the Slaterville Park on Saturday, March 30, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. for an Easter Egg Hunt. That busy Easter Bunny hid 1400 candy-filled eggs in the park for the children to find. Later, to the delight of the children, he made an appearance with the opportunity for photographs. More candy was tossed to the children, and prizes were given. The fun event was sponsored by Les Olson Company, Jay Carnahan State Farm Insurance, and the city. Thanks to them and especially to Angela Erwin, the Coordinator for the annual event. At the March 21, 2013, City Council Meeting, Lt. New Open Burning Regulations for yard cleanup are now regulated by the Utah Division of Air Quality to minimize emissions and ensure that the National Ambient Air Quality Standards are met. The Utah Division of Air Quality's online Open Burn Permit Application for a two week period must be completed, and issued by the DAQ prior to burning.
