Show Obituaries January 20, 2013 Lila Beth Bott Our loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Lila Bott passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2013. Lila was born on October 30, 1934 in Brigham City, Utah, the daughter of Cyrus T. Jensen and Clela Bonham. Mom married Moroni F. Bott on May 20, 1957 in the Logan LDS Temple. Mom was a stay at home mom. Mom was blessed with many special talents. She was an excellent candy maker. Everyone remembers her for her freshly baked bread. She loved canning. She enjoyed sewing craft items for the Mormon Handicraft where many of her handkerchiefs were used in LDS Temple dedications. She enjoyed playing Bingo and traveling. She cherished her grandchildren. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- day Saints. She served in the Primary, Relief Society as President, teacher, and visiting teacher. She especially enjoyed serving as a missionary in Georgia, Texas, and the Ogden Inner City Missions. She will be deeply missed by her children: Drieu (LeAnn) Bott, Varsel (Rhea) Bott, Dana (Darrell) Spencer all of Ogden, Utah, Lailonii Tingey of Farmington, Utah; 17 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister and a brother-in-law. Special thanks to Stoney Brooke Assisted Living and IHC Hospice for their love, support and care of service. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 25, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist's Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Send condolences to the family at: www.lindquistmortuary.com 163 January 24, 2013 IvaLou "Ivy" Purser Squires Woolsey passed away January 24, 2013 after a courageous battle with an extended illness, surrounded by her family. She was born July 1, 1933 in Randolph, Utah the daughter of Phebe Jane Brough and Charles Dean Purser. She married Jack A. Squires in 1951, they had four children, later divorced. Ivy married Bert L. Woosley in 1973; they were married for 37 years. She was loved by everyone who knew her. She was a member of the LDS Church. She belonged to Beta Sigma Phi. Ivy enjoyed sewing, gardening, baking and the last several months she enjoyed going to lunch with her brother, Ken and her children. One of her most favorite things was to get up early and play in her garden. She lovingly raised her granddaughter Nicole and great-grandson Cody. Ivy is survived by her children, Kristine Scothern (Ron), Julie Atmore, David Squires (Vicki), Cody Squires, Rolly Woolsey (Gayle), Jed Woolsey (Diane), Dan Woolsey, Tammy Finley (Don); 28 grandchildren; also her sister, Faye Cragun (Lloyd) and two brothers, Ron Purser (Bev) and Ken Kraner. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bert, son, Jack Squires; granddaughter Nicole Swuires Thompson, great-grandsons Jacob and Caden Crook, siblins, Leota Hansen, Darla Anderson, and Robert Dean Purser. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Myers Mortuary Chapel, 845 Washington Blvd. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 30th from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Interment, Myers Evergreen Memorial Park, 100 Monroe Blvd. Special thanks to the staff at Mckay Dee Hospital for the loving care they gave her.
