According to a Weber County Sheriff's Office news release, three armed men entered the Maverik store, 400 N. 2000 West, at 3:07 a.m. and forced the clerk to hand over an undisclosed amount of money. The men were armed with handguns and a knife. The suspects then fled in a vehicle. The suspects matched the descriptions of suspects in two robberies last Thursday in Plain City and Farr West. Deupties estimated the suspects stole up to a few hundred dollars in total. The arrested were identified as Ronny Juarez, 21; Jason Juarez, 18; and Cherokee Aiko, 18. All three men are from Kearns, police said. The fourth suspect is a juvenile. Weber authorities broadcast an attempt-to-locate bulletin in Weber, Davis and Salt Lake counties, the news release said. Soon after, Kaysville police observed a suspect vehicle southbound on Interstate 15. The vehicle was stopped by Kaysville officers at mile post 329. Weber COunty deputies arrived on the scene of the traffic stop and arrested three adult males and one juvenile male who were in the vehicle. The suspects were transported to the Weber sheriff's office for questioning and were booked into the county jail on three counts each of aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony. Bail was set at $60,000 for each adult suspect. The case remains under investigation. |
