A diet high in fried meats and fats can increase risk. The most common symptom is blood or blood clots in the urine. Frequent bladder infections may be another symptom. To help prevent bladder cancer, don't smoke, drink lots of water throughout the day and choose a variety of rich colored fruits and vegetables.
