Show Elizabeth Ann Carpenter OGDEN - Elizabeth Ann Carpenter, 68, passed May 31, 2012. She was born February 3, 1944 in Texarkana, TX to Homer and Willie Pearl Washington. » @ Elizabeth lived in Ogden for 66 years and graduated from Ogden High School. She married Dr. Donald R. Carpenter May 16, 1962. Elizabeth is a past Matron of the Queen of the West Chapter #17 OES (PHA), past Grand Worthy Matron of the Columbine Grand Chapter of Colorado and its jurisdiction, and past Loyal Lady Ruler of the Sego Lily Assembly #65. She was a member of New Zion Baptist Church for over 50 years. She worked ‘for Hill Air Force Base where she later retired., She and Donald had a fun-filled,’ exciting life together. She enjoyed traveling and they traveled to 47 of the 50 states in their; spare time. She also enjoyed movies and shopping, but most’ importantly she loved spending time with family. | _ Special thanks to Dr. Wool- man, Dr. Gray, Dr. Moesinger, Dr. Lowe, Dr. Sobotka, Dr. Van _ Bibber, all the nurses, hospice{ Staff, and other caretakers who helped Elizabeth along her journey. Elizabeth is survived by her husband; two daughters, Tamara and Thomas Larry and Leslie and Jason Joe; four siblings, Billy Washington, Linda Jordan, Sylvia Joyce Washington, Regina Washington; four grandchil- dren; seven great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives. She | was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Pearl Washington. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at New Zion Baptist Church, 2935 Lincoln Avenue. A: | visitation will only be held prior to the service on Wednesday, from 9 to 10:45 a.m. Interment, Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch.
