Show Saturday, December 16, 2017 Resolution of Respect For | Brother Frank Scheen Satterwhite Sunrise: June 22,1921 | Sunset: December 7, 2017 Whereas, in the great economy of Divine Providence, God has called home one of | His faithful servants, Brother Frank Satterwhite. — We, the Officers and members of the New Zion Baptist Church feel that it is _ befitting to express our heartfelt sympathy to the family and friends of Brother — Frank Satterwhite, as you gather to bid a Christian farewell to our brother in. - | Christ Jesus. Whereas, Brother Frank Satterwhite faithfully served as Financial Secretary, — Treasurer, Sunday School Teacher and as a member of the ministries of Finance - | Committee, Male Choir and Laymen of the New Zion Baptist Church for many years. During his tenure, he was a wonderful member, teacher, leader and it was evident that he greatly loved and valued his church family. | Whereas, it is our desire to embrace his family and loved ones because all of us _have a common bond that will connect us for the rest of ¢ our lives through Jesus Christ. Whereas, + that while we mourn his departure from us, we do bow _ submission to the will of God who never makes a mistake. Father for his life among us. | in humble We thank our Heavenly | | Therefore, be it resolved, that it is our prayer that these words of the Apostle Paul — will continue to comfort you in the months and years to come: In 1 Thessalonians 4:14-18, Paul reminds us; “for if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him. Rejoice, knowing that Heaven is a prepared place for a prepared people, and that in the appointed time, “the Lord Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then _we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord.” Be it further resolved, that a copy of this resolution is provided to the family and a copy placed in the archives of the New Zion Baptist Church. “I go to prepare a place for you.” [John 14:2] In the matchless name of Jesus Christ, Sister Tricia A.
