Show Curtis D. Wise Brigham City — Curtis D. Wise, 77, passed away on September 25, 2016. He was born February 13, 1939 in Buckner, Arkansas to Tom Wise and Sue Wilson. He graduated from Ogden High School, where he played football and ran track. He received a Bachelor’s degree from Weber State and also attended Utah State. He served in the US Army for 2 years. Curtis was a member of the First Baptist Church of Brigham City and served as a Deacon, Secretary and was a Sunday School teacher. He also worked in the Community Food Pantry. He worked as a postman for 32 years and belonged to the United Postal Workers. He loved fishing and enjoyed watching football. He loved visiting family and friends. Family barbeques were his favorite where the family would visit and watch football games together. Curtis is survived by his brother O.D. (Dunnese) Sanders of Ogden; step-siblings, Mrs. Maggie Jordon, Mrs. Jessie Lennox, Henry Scott, Mrs. Gloria Wise Meeks, Mrs Abbie Franklin, Bennie L Wise, Calvin Wise, Tommy Jr. Wise and Mrs. Connie | Wise Willis. He was preceded by his mother Sue Oliver and Frank Oliver, father Tom Wise. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. where friends may call on Friday, Sept. 30" from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 2 to 2:45 p.m. prior.
