Show The Obituary Of Rosie “Pootnie” Lee Kelly- Tillman Sunrise - October 25, 1946 « Sunset - March 11, 2017 Rosie Lee Kelly-Tillman, 70 passed away peacefully at McKay Dee Hospital on Saturday March 11, 2017. She was surrounded by her loving family and friends. Rosie was born on October 25, 1946 in Brookhaven, Mississippi to A.J. Kelly and Mattie Mae Hall-Kelly. Rosie dedicated her life to Christ at a very young age and was baptized at New Zion Baptist Church Ogden, UT. She later found Christian fellowship with Second Baptist Church, Ogden, UT and was a member until her passing. Kosie married Bishop E. Tillman II and to this loving union they were blessed with two children Kelly and Bishop III. She took great pleasure in showing off her culinary skills for her family and friends. She regularly fed the less fortunate. They often knocked on the door and she would feed them sandwiches. She also enjoyed shopping, decorating, sewing and traveling. Rosie is survived by her daughter Kelley (Vincent) Harris of Stafford, VA, son Bishop (Patrice) Tillman of West Valley City, UT, four-grandchildren Takeya Harris, Bishop Tillman, A.J. Harris and Shea Tillman, one sister Lovey (Vernon) Hairston of West Haven, UT and a host of nieces, nephews, death by both parents, Tillman. relatives and friends. She is proceeded in a sister Vernon Davis and her grand-daughter Cree A’lexis A celebration of Rosie’s life will be held at Ogden City Cemetery 1875 Monroe Blvd on Friday, March 18, 2017 at 12:00pm. o Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff from McKay Dee Hospital. |
