Show October 25, 1946 - March 11, 2017 Resided in Ogden, UT Obituary Rosie Lee Kelly-Tillman Sunrise October 25, 1946 Sunset March 11, 2017 Rosie Lee Kelly -Tillman, 70 passed away peacefully at McKay Dee Hospital on Saturday March 11, 2017. She was surrounded by her loving family and friends. Rosie Lee Kelly-Tillman was born on October 25, 1947 in Brookhaven, Mississippi to A.J. Kelly and Mattie Mae Hall. Rosie dedicated her life to Christ at an early age. She was a member of Second Baptist Church, Ogden, Utah. Rosie married Bishop E. Tillman to this loving union they were blessed with two children. . She took great pleasure in showing off her culinary skills for her family and friends. She regularly fed the less fortunate. They often knocked on her door and she would give them sandwiches. She also enjoyed shopping, decorating, sewing and traveling. Rosie is survived by her daughter Kelley (Vincent) Harris of Stafford, VA son Bishop (Patrice) Tillman of West Valley City, UT, four grandchildren Takeya Harris, Bishop Tillman, A.J. Harris and Shea Tillman, one sister Lovey (Vernon) Hairston of West Haven, UT and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by both parents, a sister, and her granddaughter. A celebration of Rosie's life will be held at Ogden City Cemetery 1875 Monroe Blvd on Friday March 12, 2017 at 12:00 PM Special Thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff from McKay Dee Hospital. |
