Show Steven Warren House On September 19, 2012, God showed favor and took Steven Warren House home. Steve, 58, of Layton Utah was born March 20, 1954 in_ Fort Mead, Maryland to Prince and Ruth House. He was the younger of two sons. Steve graduated from Pemberton High School in 1972. After graduation, Steve enlisted in the United States Air Force at the age of 19. After 20 years of honorably serving his country he retired. While stationed at Hill AFB he met the love of his life, Connie L. Burks and married her in 1977. they had two children, Alvis and Prince. Steve was an avid reader. | He enjoyed cooking, jazz music, movies, sports and current events. He loved spending time with family. Although a reserved man, he encouraged his sons and grandchildren to pursue excellence. Steve had a big heart and served his family, he was known to go out of his way to support family and friends. Whether he was called on to man the grill and cook for church and family BBQ’s, provide transportation or fix or repair something, he took pride in each task. Steve was a remarkably devoted family man and was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, papa, uncle and friend. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Connie House; two sons, Alvis (Monique) House of Woodbridge, VA and Prince (Patsy) House, serving in the Army in Round Rock, TX; six grandchildren, Stefani, Asa, Tamijah, Kirk, Kameron and Kara; his parents, Prince and Ruth House of Pemberton, NJ; his brother, Allen (Bernadette) House of NJ along with many, many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Steve was an extraordinary patriot who faithfully served his country and shared his wisdom with others to benefit. He will truly be missed. A Celebration of Life will be held at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at lp.m. Military honors will be accorded at this time by VFW Post 1481 Honor Guard.
