Show a — * as. OGDEN- Our beloved mother, Mary Olive Tolliver, returned to her Heavenly Home, on September 22, 2014, following a life of service to her family, friends and community. She was born December 24, 1925 in Charleston, South Carolina to Lavinia Powell and Joseph Winthrop. She married Richard Tolliver on June 24, 1951 in Washington DC. He preceded her in death i Mary Olive Winthrop Tolliver | December 24, 1925 ~ September 22, 2014 in 1988. net i Mary was a school teacher in Baltimore, Maryland prior to moving to Ogden with her family. She was employed at HAFB. She _ loved to do knitting, — cross-stich, crocheting, reading and cross word puzzles. She enjoyed volunteer work at the gift shop at Ogden Regional f Medical Center, the Marshall — White Center and helping ~~ children to improve their reading skills at Roosevelt Elementary School. She loved vacations, especially cruises. Mary is survived by a son and three daughters, Gerald Tolliver, Karen Tolliver, Joyce Tolliver and Jeanette Tolliver. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother, Albert Winthrop. Funeral September Washington services will be held 27, 2014 at Myers Blvd. A visitation at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Ogden Mortuary, 845 will be held on Friday, September 26, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, prior to the service from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Interment, Washington Heights Memorial Park.
