Show Bina Lee McCowan May 16, 1924 ~ September 23, 2016 th Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-gra ndmother, aunt and friend, Bina Lee McCowan, passed awa y peacefully on September 23, 2016. She was born on May 16, 1924, in Buck- ner, Arkansas, to Arlander and Odessa Dockery Wesley. She married Adell Ellis. They were married for ten years and later divorced. She later MEESTE R uae married her sweetheart, Al- &@ o ee fred McCowan, on August 31, 1960. She was an active member for over 50 years of New Zion Baptist Church and served as a Deaconess. Bina loved to sew, fish, cook, travel, can food and garden. She enjoyed playing games with her family and loved attending church.’ _ She is survived by her children: Betty Jean Tucker and Alfred Douglas (Rose) McCowan; 17 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildre andn five ereat-great-grandchildren. She. was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons; four brothers and six sisters. Special thanks to Integrity Hospice for the love and care they gave to mom . Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday, ae October 1, 2016, at the New Zions Baptist Church, 293 5 Lincoln Avenue, Ogden. A viewing will be held Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd and prior to services from 11 to noo n at the church. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park.
