She was born in Reon, UT on September 22, 1953 to John and Modesting Carpenter. | She was raised in Ogden, UT, graduating from Ogden High schon! snd atiznded: Weber State University. She worked as a teacher at Ogden-Weber Community fietion, OSC Childearg, then returned to Ogden-Weber Community Aetion, retiring in Jung 2011. She was a member of New Zion Baptist Chureh where she served as a Youth Choir Pirgetor and as an active member of the Youth Department ohe aang itin various ehoirs and was a Sunday School Teacher. | . fer greatest joy and achievement was raising threes sons: Mareus, Brian, and Anthony Carpenter. Her spiritual gift was giving; by giving her heart, time, and love to so mang ehildren in the community. Her family meant the world to her. She is survived bg eight Brothers: Dr. Donald Carpenter, Randolph (Bobbette) Carpenter, Johnng (Sabrina) Carpenter, Steven (Sandra) Carpenter, Byron (Natalig) Carpenter, Michael r, and Dennis (Cashawn) ier. One (Cynthia) Carpenter, Douglas (Robin) Carpente sister, linda (lorenzo) Carter; and a host of grandehildren, great- grandehildren, nigegs, nephews, cousins, aunts and unelgs. She was preeeded in death by her parents; ong sister, Charlotte Carpenter; ong sister-in-law, Elizabeth Carpenter; and ong grandehild. We will miss her beautiful smile and the love she shared with everyone.
