Conrad was born on June 30, 1950, to Leward. Thomas Steve ~ son and Leonia Williams Steverson in Philadelphia, PA. He mov: 4i | ~ to Ogden, UT, in 1969. He was a graduate of Weber High Scho: Ne ee | and atténded Weber State College” He married Vernie Burton Steverson November 3, 1971. He was empolyed by Weber Human Services and PAAG for 40 | years. He worked part-time as a flagger on road construction, | working for various companies. Conrad enjoyed doing everything in life, from working on cars to gardening, playing baseball and watching all-star wresting. His most favorite thing to do was fishing. He also loved the blues and religious muSic. ~~ He is surived by his wife of 46 years; his children: Shawnta (Joe N.) Chavis II, Omaha, NE; N-Gai (Danyel) Steverson, Layton, UT; sisters: E. Jean Steverson (Tyron) Savage, Philadelphia, PA; Ralen Penny Coleman, Raleigh, NC; four grandchildren: Master Joe N. Chavis III; Shannell Chavis, both of Omaha, NE; Jonathan Trujillo and Jagio Adams, both of Layton, UT; and two greaterandchildren, Myla Chavis and Sophia Lucille Chavis, both of | ue | , Omaha, NE. He is preceded in death by his mother, father and brother, Leward Thomas Steverson, Jr. ey Services will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Myers Mortuary 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden, UT 84404.
