Show Arts, Letters and Science Arts, Letters and Science 4. To enrich the intellectual and cultural climate of the college and the community. Programs in the School are such that students can become acquainted with the main fields of human knowledge and have considerable opportunity to discover their interests and special aptitudes. Although emphasizing breadth of education, the curricula of the School permit sufficient specialization and career education to prepare students for enrollment in professional schools and graduate programs or for participation in the world of work. Students completing baccalaureate programs in the School will be granted either the bachelor of arts or the bachelor of science degree.
