Revelation 21:1-4 Samuel Brown, Jr. was born November 26, 1930, to the late Samuel Brown, Sr. and Hattie Mae Brown, in Bude, Mississippi. He departed this life Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at his residence, in Kirby, Mississippi. Samuel graduated from Meadville High School April 1950, and joined the United States Army in 1951 and served his country until 1953. Upon returning home from service he attended Alcorn A & M College where he studied and completed training in shoe repair and plumbing. Samuel chose plumbing as his career and worked in that field until he became disabled. He enjoyed his work of bringing customers yom the outside to the inside. Samuel worked i in 1 the Freedom Movement jor the benefit of our people and this county, for many years. He served as Chairman of tthe Democratic Party and kept information coming into the |
