He received many requests to sing "Ninety-nine And dy Half Won't Do" and "Just Another Day That The Lord Has Kept Me”. And he always honored the rete and ake ck doing so. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by; four sisters, Naomi Walters, Betty Brown, Julia Nelson, and Ruth Webster; two brothers, Roscoe Brown and James Brown. He leaves behind to cherish his memories: a loving devoted wife, Juanita Brown; two daughters, Detrich (LeRoy) Martin, and Amy (Russell) Batiste; one son, Samuel Keith Brown; one adopted nephew, Charles (Kesha) Toles; two sisters, Dorothy Brown, and Mary Bell (Tommy) Tucker; two brothers, Nathaniel (Bonnie) Brown, and Charles Edward Brown; ten grandchildren, Ayonna Monique Brown, Sydney Allen, Milani Minor, Jamia Minor, Markeia Brown, Josalyn Brown, JaBari Toles, Tycceus Toles, and DaKari Toles; three great-grandchildren, Khalia Briggs, Quincy Michael Scott, and Jaiyona Rae Johns; one brother-in-law, Richard Nelson; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. |
