THE OBITUARY Clinton Whitted was born in Roxboro, North Carolina on August 9, 1935 to the late Callie Mary Whitted. Clinton Whitted grew up in Roxboro, North Carolina. After completing school, he moved to New York City where he met and married his wife Jean in 1956. He worked in the jewelry industry specializing in making rings. and Jean After his retirement, Clinton re-located to Florida where he maintained his interest in listening to jazz music, telling corny jokes and watching as many political news stories as possible. On February 15, 2016, Clinton passed away in his home. He was preceded in death by his daughter Denise Leathers. He is survived by his wife, Jean Whitted, of the daughter Lisa Whitted of Roxboro, srandchildren -— Christian home; his NC; three Preston (wife Savonnea) of Roxboro, NC; Skylar Whitted of Roxboro, NC and LeRon Leathers of Roxboro, NC; his half-brother Emmanuel Timmons, Jr; one great-grandchild Emma Preston and a host of additional relatives and friends.
