Show Why Participate? How to Participate? Who is Participating? Utah is earthquake country. What you do beforehand can determine how you react during and recover from a disaster. The ShakeOut is a perfect time to practice your emergency plans with the rest of the state. We all have reasons that we have, or have not, prepared for earthquakes. Below is a list of reasons why you should choose to participate in the ShakeOut. You understand that it is beneficial to practice life-saving actions often to be prepared to take action instantly. You want to use the ShakeOut as a reason for you, your family, community or business to get prepared now. You were invited to register by someone you know, and you want to join them.
