Show Deola Wells Stevenson October 24, 2012 MARRIOTT-SLATERVILLE - Deola Wells Stevenson passed away October 24, 2012. Deola was born August 22, 1931 in Brigham City, Utah, a daughter of Clive Wells and Mary Burden Wells. She lived in Willard, Utah and graduated from Box Elder High School. She married Myron A. Stevenson in June 1949 at her parents home in Willard. They moved to Ogden and were later sealed for time and eternity on May 22, 1953 in the Salt Lake Temple. In 1959 they moved to Marriott, Utah; then to Slaterville in 1969. They were married for 63 years. Deola was a member of the Marriott-Slaterville 2nd Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in several callings: secretary in Y.W.M.I.A, as a Bee Hive Teacher, a Primary Counselor, Blazer Teacher, Relief Society Secretary and was a Visiting Teacher for many years. She was loved by all who knew her, and will be greatly missed. Some of her most favorite times were when the family was together for family activities. She was a wonderful homemaker and the mother of six children, five of whom are still living. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Dee Myron; her parents; her sister, Dorothy Archibald; two great-grandchildren and daughter-in-law, Karen White Stevenson. She is survived by her husband and five children, Michael (Karen), Robert (Patsy), Val (Ly- dia), Nancy (Corey) Hennefer and Peggy (Randy) Olearain; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Darrell (Saundra) Wells, Roger (friend Karen) Wells and Dean (Carolyn) Wells. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m, on Monday, October 29, 2012 at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. Friends may call on Sunday, October 28th from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Ogden City Cemetery.
