Saturday, Jan. 7. Cleone gave a dinner for us Joe & Myrene, Junior and Blanch were present. Enjoyed the evening until my legs began to cramp very badly. Dr and I did not stay late as I felt rather sick and felt I had worked too hard all day so retired early. Dr seems so well for which I am thankful. Sunday, Jan. 8. I had a very unpleasant night as I developed tomaine poison from eating some Elk meat which had been frozen and had thawed out & stood long enough to take up tomaine. I had severe stomach & bowel cramps & vomiting most all night. Have been very sick all day in bed Dr went to Preistood meeting None of the children have called today. An exception. Monday, Jan. 9. This A.M. I feel much better. Slept quite well. Have done some laundry but did rest some this afternoon. Dr went to a lecture this evening. Cleone called she has been appointed to serve on the Weber Co. Relief Board with Co & City Commissioners. Tuesday, Jan. 10. Martha Cooley came and visited a couple of hours. She is a very dear friend and has not been well for some time. I am finaly beginning to pack for our trip to Panama. We intend visiting the girls in Cal. for a few days, Mary at Palo Alto and Avon will meet us there. Drs sister Nancy Pugmire died today she was 84 yr old.
