Despite German claims that Gydnia had fallen, the Warsaw radio continued a special broadcast for Polish soldiers fighting near the city. BRUSSELS, Sept. 14. Messages to Brussels tonight said French troops with tanks had crossed the Moselle river near Luxembourg and attacked on the German side. Machine gun fire and artillery were heard clearly in Schengen, on the Luxembourg side of the border, indicating a severe battle. BUCHAREST, Sept. 14. Reports from the Polish frontier tonight said about 200 Polish soldiers, driven back by a swift German advance between Lwow and the border, had crossed into Rumania at several points and had been disarmed and interned. A first degree murder charge will be filed against Malcolm (Red) Shurland, 36 year old mulatto, said County Attorney John A. Hendricks this afternoon.
