Show Sunday, Nov. 19. Dr & I went to Sunday school he gave a fine lesson had a good attendance in his class. I cooked a nice dinner we ate alone and in the afternoon called on the children. Junior is much better of his cold and was out today. Still beautiful weather very dry and little frost. Neutral Ships Being Sunk 19 1939 That sinking of a passenger boat in the English channel by a mine with heavy loss of life proves that travel by ship in any part of the war zone is an extreme hazard. Mine fields are being laid everywhere along the lanes of ocean travel, and as in this instance, a vessel flying the flag of the Netherlands, whose safety should have been assured by both belligerents, was destroyed. No rules of sane warfare are being observed.
