HELSINKI Finns say Russians halted on virtually all fronts. Report great losses inflicted on reds in counterattack. MOSCOW Red army reports new advances carry its forces to points 65 to 66 miles from frontier. LONDON Britain hints at large scale land offensive against Germans once allied air superiority is added to sea supremacy, ROME Soviet ambassador leaves abruptly after fascist anti-Russian demonstrations. WAKKANAI Seven hundred Russians lost when steamer Indigirka founders in blizzard. MONTEVIDEO, Dec. 15 It was reported today without confirmation from Nazi sources that Germany is assembling warships, possibly submarines, to combat the British naval forces waiting outside Montevideo harbor for departure of the German pocket battleship Admiral Graf Spee. LONDON, Dec. 15. The British tanker Atheltemplar, 8,939 tons, was reported to have been seriously damaged by enemy action off the east coast today. The big tankers crew were reported taken aboard another vessel. HELSINKI, Finland, Dec. 15. An official communique said Finnish forces continued to advance today in the Tolvajervi sector where the Finns claim two Russian regiments were wiped out yesterday.
