Show Thursday, Nov. 16. D.U.P. Ball for the 27th Anniversary Dance and the first time it has been given at the White City Dance Hall. A very large attendance and a fine success. Mrs Pearl B. Foulger Pres. Dr & I served elk Stake dinner for Royal, Cleone, Blanch, Myrene, Ralph & Maren Hardy & Lynn. Junior was ill also Joe did not come. Cleone wore her grand mother Richs black silk dress made forty years ago and Maren wore my wedding dress. Both looked lovly. Lynn & Rich took part in the programme Rich dressed a Uncle Same & Lynn as a Colonial lady. I wore pioneer costum. All had a good time. Saturday, Nov. 18. Dr feels much better this A.M. I recd an invitation from Rosanna C Irvine in S.L.C. to be present at a luncheon to be given by her at the Lion House next week. Had a note from Katherne C. Duker of Cal. thanking me for a gift to her new baby. |
