Show Sunday, June 4. Dr went to Sunday School. I did not go as I was expecting Dr Royal Hendricks & wife to call. They did not come until 12 noon so Blanch invited Dr & I to have lunch with them as Royal & Lottie were having lunch with them. We came home and Junior & Blanch took them up South Fork to see Joe & Myrenes new summer home, after which they drove them to Salt Lake to get on air plane to Cal. Monday, June 5. Besides doing house work have read some. I dont seem to accomplish what I use too in a day. Dr is having new garages built at the Avon Apts. has had a lot of trouble and expense doing so. Poor labor and high wages. Rose Nielson came to visite me. Tuesday, June 6. Rose Nielsen is visiting me we have enjoyed the day. read some Dr Will Baker called. Rose stayed all night. Weather quite cool. Wednesday, June 7. Have spent most of the afternoon reading John Stephens history of Central America written in 1834 as he was there nine mo. at that time. Finished his two Vol. Very interesting. It is quite cold the last few days and I am wearing a wool sweater. Rose Nielsen went home to Salt Lake has spent two days visiting me. I like her very much. Dr went to a prize fight at O.H. this evening. |
