Dec. Thur. 28. Listed all Christmas cards recd over a hundred from realatives & friends. Drs cold better. Friday 29. Did not sleep well Dr seems to have more cold but went to the office as usual. Aunt Em Williams wife, Naioma, Louis, husband & their boy and Edith came up form Salt Lake about 930 A.M. We had a very nice visite. After dinner was over they went back at 2 P.M. & I attended Bro. Wallworks funeral in the 18 Ward. He was knocked down by an Auto Sat. night lived but a few hours after. A very good man. Went down town after the service dropped in Drs office Junior took my blood pressure it was 190 over 200. So I must try and not over do, sleep better and loose some weight, also take medicine more diligently. Snowed somelast night & may tonight. Had a nice letter form Janath who is in Toronto. ANKARA Violent shocks in western Turkey reported to have killed more than 8000 and destroyed whole villages; available information necessarily incomplete because of the destruction of communications indicated a great catastrophe.
