Show Sunday, Jan. 1. A very beautiful day. the Dr started the year out right by going to Priestood meeting and giving the lesson. I remained in bed until eleven oclock as I have not been sleeping very well for several nights. We had a nice dinner with Joe and Myrene & family after which we did some calling. This evening we attended the Messiah given by the Tabernacle Choir in the High School auditorium. The attendance was large. Cleone played in orchestra. Monday Jan. 2. Another lovly day moderate weather and little snow. Ralph Hardie stayed here over night and this morning Dr prepared breakfast for him and himself. Dr and I had dinner with Junior & family. They have very dear children. This afternoon Dr and I called on Mrs. Alex Brewer, Mrs Ida Treeseder, Mrs John Watson, Dr & Mrs Le Ray Pugmire and Dr and Mrs Frank W. Baker. We are enjoying the book The American Indians by A.H. Verill. We spend most every evening reading. Three auto deaths in Utah so far this new year. |
