(eight a. m. M.S.T.) from Tromsoe, the northern Norwegian port where the captured ship halted briefly on its northward journey to Russia more than a week ago. Tromsoe is about 500 miles from Murmansk and more than 800 miles from Hamburg, mentioned as the probable destination of the German prize crew. NEW YORK, Oct. 30 A seven ton airplane carrying two Peruvian brothers on a 4,014 mile non stop flight from New York to Lima, Peru, was believed headed over the Caribbean sea today. BERLIN, Oct. 30The semi official Diplomatische Korrespondenz today attacked the United States double standard of neutrality in connection with the captured American freighter City of Flint, now presumably attempting to run the North sea blockade to a German port. |
