Thursday, Oct. 26. Beautiful Fall mountains gorgeous. To lovly to stay indoors. I did some laundray prepared a very good cooked lunch. Dr is on the job every minute while Dr Junior has been East. They are now on their way home flew from N.Y. to Chicago. Also Jr. from Columbus to N.Y. on their way to Philadelphia. This afternoon I spent at Myrenes. She entertained her D.U.P. Camp. A splendid programme was given by Judge W.H. Reeder and Surveying money, in early days of Utah. Orsen Pratts history was also given by him and Rinthia Pratt Douglas a daughter. Friday, Oct. 27. This morning Junior & Blanch arrived home from the East having had a profitable & enjoyable trip. Cleone and I drove to Salt Lake. She was kind enough to go for me as I had genealogy work to see about. We called at R.S.L. Station to see Ralph Hardy Marens husband later called at their home. I went to the Library to Gen. rooms and we arrived home at seven. I also made some arrangement about having another Memory Book made. Saturday, Oct. 28. Janath is 21 yr today. Have spent the day at home except This. Janath is twenty one today our oldest grandchild. She was born here in our home. has always been a splendid fine girl and has accomplished a great deal. Has always been an honor studant, a faithful Latter Day Saint and we have rejoiced in having her. She expects to finish her L.D.S. Mission in Hawaii as she was only in the French mission about a month when called home because of War. Iris R. Collins & family called. Attended a lecture at Weber College on Industries of Utah. Sunday, Oct. 29. Conference in 18 Ward. Dr & I went this A.M. & Dr to Priestood meeting. We had a nice dinner with Cleone and family. Junior and Blanch also Myrene invited us to have dinner with them. As Dr has some cold and lumbago we stayed home the rest of the day. I have done some writing today. Junior called. Junior has a bad cold.
