Show NAZIS WARNED BY FRANCE ON BARBARIC WAR PARIS, Dec. 1 Premier Daladier warned Germany in a broadcast tonight that if she launches unrestricted air warfare France will reply with the same weapon. The premier, newly invested with full decree powers for the duration of the war, bluntly told his countrymen that France must be prepared for the possibility that the enemy fuehrer will start barbaric warfare. FINN REFUGEES BURN HOUSES; GO TONORWAY Americans, British Among Groups Fleeing Red Invasion KIRKAENAES, Norway: (Northernmost City in the, World), Dec. 2 Finnish refugees, mostly women and children, streamed over the ice covered frontier into Norway today after burning down their homes to keep the Russians from using them. Americans, British and Canadians, who had been employed in Finlands nickel industry, were among them. The Russians were driving fast onto the Norwegian border in this far north country and a fierce battle was under way beween 800 Finnish soldiers and several thousand Russians only 10 miles from the Norwegian border near Svanvik. Bishop Grant Lofgreen was released and Bro Denick was made bishop of the 18 Ward. Ray & Margret Pugmire called for awhile this evening. EIGHTEENTH WARD HAS NEW BISHOP William deMik today succeeded L. Grant Lofgren as bishop of the L.D.S. Eighteenth ward, announced William H. Reeder, Jr., stake president. Bishop deMik, a former counselor in the ward bishopric, has been amember of the stake high council the past two years. Alma Jennings has been sustained as first counselor and Wendell James as second counselor. George A. Crompton was retained as ward clerk and Seth Reeder was named assistant ward clerk. The reorganization was effected Sunday by President Reeder and William J. Critchlow, Jr., of the stake presidency. Dr. Edward I.
