Show 31 en Flooding moves gypsies, jousters to new location MARRIOTT- SLATERVILLE — The gypsies, magicians and jousters with the Utah Renaissance Festival and Fantasy Faire will have a new, temporary location this year. The usual site in Marriott- Slaterville flooded, and organizers found a new location at 1900 W. 1350 South, Marriott-Slaterville. The field will be set up as the Renaissance village of Hawkhurst over the next three weekends. Entertainment throughout the village consists of dancing, magicians, singing, storytelling, puppets and jousting. Merchants will sell Renaissance-period clothing and equipment. Food vendors will also sell a variety of foods, including chocolates, meat pies and roasted turkey legs. Attendees are encouraged to wear period clothing in a family- friendly style. The fair is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today through Sunday, May 12-15, and May 20-22. Tickets are $12 for adults; $10 for those in full Renaissance garb; $10 for federal employees, military personnel and guests; $10 for seniors; and $6 for children age 3-11.
